“Play Me, I’m Yours” is an artwork by British artist Luke Jerram who has been touring the project globally since 2008. In NYC 60 pianos, presented by Sing for Hope, are located in public parks, streets and plazas until 5th July for any member of the public to play and engage with. These girls were having fun with a piano on Pier One at Riverside Park.

Art is one of the most important subjects to teach our children, and often it is the first to be eliminated from the curriculum when budgets are tight. It was a real pleasure to see this teacher in action and the children respond enthusiastically at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

The heavy burden of fatherhood – Madison Avenue, New York City.
A bit of street photography with my Canon G9. I saw this father waiting for a light at Madison Avenue. The pink highlight of the bottle at the bottom of the pack caught my attention and added a nice focus to this shot in my opinion. The Canon, with it’s 200mm equivalent lens was perfect to get a sharp shot from across the street.
