Tulips on a Grid

Red Tulips

Red Tulips

During a recent visit to Fort Tryon Park in upper Manhattan, I saw these perfect tulips in the bright sun, but they were behind a wire fence. However, with a 200mm (400mm equivalent) and f5.6 you can make the fence disappear and create a nice pattern. The fence was actually in front of the tulips, but the grid seems to appear in back.

Taken with my Olympus E-p2 and the Lumix G. Vario 1:4-5.6/45-200 lens.
